This blog...

The purpose of this blog is to help ex JW's who have left the Watchtower to know that they have a Heavenly Father who still cares about them.
It may not feel like it, you may feel hurt and betrayed, but He loves you, and wants you to have a personal relationship with Him in the person of His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ [John 1:12-13]

Urgent Prayer Requests-PLEASE PRAY

A dear friend I post with on CARM has CREST Syndrome which was diagnosed about 10 years ago. It is the systemic form. There are five diseases in this syndrome and if you have two of the five you have the syndrome. He has all five. Weird thing is, it mostly happens in women! There is no known cause nor is there is any cure for it. The blood vessels to his internal organs are dying, it has caused ulcers in his stomach, his esophagus is totally dead, it has caused hypertension, pernicious anemia, on and on I could go.

This friend is also a pastor who is a real encourager and a big blessing in my life, and the lives of so many.

Also, an update on Sophie, she needs alot of prayer for her liver. Pray for a good specialist to help her, that God would ease her pain, and also she would be able to get some sleep at night this precious friend of mine.

God has given me two very precious friends in my life here, and I know God has something very precious prepared for them in Glory [John 14]

Encouragement

"The eagle of the Alps is sometimes beaten down by the tempest into the narrow defiles of the mountains. Storm clouds shut in this mighty bird of the forest, their dark masses separateing her from the sunny heights where she has made her home. Her efforts to escape seem fruitless. She dashes too and fro, beating the air with her strong wings, and waking the mountain echoes with her cries. At length, with a note of triumph, she darts upward, and peircing the clouds, is once more in the clear sunlight, with the darkness and tempest far beneath.
So we may be surrounded with difficulties, darkness, discouragement...falsehood, calamity, injustice shut us in. There are clouds that we cannot dispel. We battle with circumstances in vain.
